The planet's mass is 2.9 times the mass of Jupiter, and its orbital period is 182 days.[17] Gliese 849 is a red dwarf star orbited by the first known long-period Jupiter-like planet, Gliese 849 The planet's mass is 0.99 times that of Jupiter and its orbital period is 1,852 days
